The Cube was a bit thicker, but otherwise the shape, size, and even button placement on the itek was nearly identical. Reading through their respective manuals, the capabilities also seemed in perfect parity, down to being able to use the button on the device as a remote camera control for your smartphone. Which got me thinking: just how similar would these two devices be internally? Clearly they looked and functioned the same, but would they be built the same as well? They would have to cut costs somewhere.
Abstract: A method at a user equipment for handover from a serving cell to a target cell, the method sending a measurement report to the serving cell; and transmitting a reconfiguration complete message to the target cell; wherein the measurement report includes downlink timing measurements for the target cell. Further, a method at a source network element for handover of a user equipment from the source network element to a target network element, the method receiving a measurement report from the user equipment; sending a handover request to the target network element; receiving a handover request acknowledgement from the target network element, the handover request acknowledgement including a reconfiguration message and at least one downlink subframe in which an uplink grant is expected at the target network element for the user equipment; and forwarding the reconfiguration message and at least one downlink subframe to the user equipment.
The rising reliance on natural gas as a source of power is as noteworthy as the growth in wind. With Pickering Nuclear Generating Station closing down for good in five years and major refits at Darlington and Bruce reactors, power supply is in transition.
In the picture with the two open devices, on the cube (original) on the right, you can see a blue can attached to the PCB. I’m reasonably convinced that is an inductor wired in parallel with the piezo. If you apply a squarewave with for example a transistor, every time it switches off the inductor will produce a voltage spike higher than the supply voltage, increasing the volume of the piezo speaker.
For all the people out there who want their memories to last forever, or their story materialised, or just want to jot down their feelings or ideas:
First tier was simple circuits with springs screwed to a plastic breadboard similar to the article. Second tier was slightly more complex circuits like in the article but on proper PCB Third tier was more complex logic and TTL etc level stuff on PCB.
Battery, charging issues BEVs have been around for decades. The first modern electric car appeared in 1996, when GM launched the EV1, which was dropped in 2002. In 1997, Toyota introduced the Prius, a hybrid.
— Grand Renewable Solar, a partnership between Samsung Renewable, Pattern Energy and Six Nations, arrived in 2015 with 445,392 solar panels. An associated company operates 67 wind turbines on the South Cayuga site. The combined output of 250MW is enough to light up 77,000 homes.
BTW, the CSA803 looks really cool. Is it possible to build such an instrument DIY? For the last few weeks I’ve built a fast 25 MHz datalogger for up to 8 analog channels and 64 optionally additional digital inputs, with a DE10 Nano board, see here:http://www.eevblog.com/forum/projects/4-channel-adc-10-mhz-8-bit-design/msg2075176/#msg2075176 I guess if I add a very fast sample-and-hold circuit in front of the analog inputs, controlled by the FPGA, it should be possible to use the slow ADCs (25 MHz max samplerate) to measure repeating signals with a very high analog bandwidth. Wouldn’t matter if I need to measure 1000 cycles, all a little bit phase shifted. I could generate the phase shifted trigger signals for the sample-and-hold circuits (I hope) and stitch it all together (this part should be easy) with the FPGA.

-Fuel Efficiency with DriveGreen™ Drive smarter. Studies performed by fueleconomy.gov show that 33% of fuel is wasted simply by inefficient driving habits. Our proprietary Kiwi Drive Green driving behavior algorithms provide optimal fuel efficiency feedback for any vehicle or driving conditions. Kiwi Drive Green receives sensor inputs, ‘learns’ your driving styles, and computes it into a ‘Kiwi Score.’ As you drive, the app conveniently displays your score alongside other fuel efficiency parameters.
The Newton High-Voltage Transformer was the incineration site. Here, in a fenced-in yard off along a 403 ramp in Westdale small birds regularly get zapped like mosquitoes but larger birds, such as the one found smouldering in the yard on April 17, can cause a disruption large enough to trip breakers.
