In talking to Professor Lee, he noted that the classic Tek 465 oscilloscope did not have a T-coil to drive the CRT (cathode ray tube), to its detriment. Lee told me. âTek put a T-coil in the next-to-last stage, but no T-coil driver on the CRT plates. I go through the calculations, and theyâre giving up 30% of the bandwidth by not putting one on the output stage.â
The teardrop fillets were supposed to help with mis-registration of the drill hole in a pad but these days if a vendor cant hit a pad with a drill then how are they going to do micro and buried vias, let alone things like via in pad.
This is the best article I have read on here in a long time. Really great. I would be interested to see more on what effect impedance has on high speed signals and whether field solvers are really accurate simulations of the real thing. I had long heard about the square corner issue but always found it hard to believe that electrons care about whether a corner is 90 degrees or multiple 30 degree corners. Seemed unlikely to me, because sharp corner or smooth corner matters only if you have momentum (which requires mass, less mass less momentum). The magnetic field would of course be different but in a complex board the interaction between all those fields seems more important to me and hard to know without accurate (expensive) simulation of the entire system.
Gracias Sr Mario Sacco. Buen tutorial y deja que algunos digan que los step-up son antiguos , por mi parte fué un buen tutorial y aprendí algo nuevo.
When completed in a couple of years, the Ontario grid gains a vital link to customers in 13 U.S. states via PJM Interconnection, one of the largest wholesale energy markets in world.
Today, transmission lines on steel towers cut through Hamilton on their way to the GTA along the Beach Strip and also converge at a point south of here near Middleport, where power merges from Bruce nuclear plant on Lake Huron and Niagara's hydroelectric giants.

Recently we told you about 3DInductors. This is a new service that lets you 3D print pure copper induction coils. 3DInductors was developed by GH Induction which is a part of GH Group, based in Valencia Spain and one of the market leaders in induction heating. The company developed its own technology application for 3D printing copper based on EBM (Electron Beam Welding). This is a complex process to work with and dial in for manufacturing. In addition, copper 3D printing has been attempted before by many players only for them to find out that it is much more difficult than they think. Of the players that say that say can do it right now precious few are actually able to deliver parts at scale. What’s more, the 3DInductors team is the first to do this for EBM. Also, it is the first company able to 3D print pure copper. It’s incredibly innovative that the GH Group would go through the significant lengths to develop their own technology and then to launch a direct to customer “start up/separate brand/skunkworks” type of play to bring it to market. I think that this really shows a very fruitful path for staid and large companies to innovate.
According to the Associated Press, over 3,500 people have been evacuated since the fire began on Thursday night. Officials suspect the blaze was started by a spark from an electrical transformer. Propelled south, down the coast by dangerously strong winds, it is being called one of the worst in Korea’s recent history and has destroyed over 525 hectares.
In addition, the design is modelled through the 3D CAD software optimizing both outer and inner design:
What does the T stand for in MOSFET? And the T in BJT? What then is a transistor which can be compared against a MOSFET!?
